Okay, so photographing hot air balloons at night isn’t as easy as I thought [or I’m just stupid]. However, it was such a short “show” and there was a breeze so moving balloons made it close to impossible to get a clear shot. These are the only decent ones I got. Bummers.
Geoff will be arriving tonight to spend 2 nights with us—I’m SOOOO excited to see him! It’s been almost 2 years!
Hope they don’t ruin it.
Also! I finally got to try Sonic today…waaay awesome! Everything we had was totally delicious. Return trips are in my future. I still need to go to a real Chick-Fil-A [i.e. not one in an airport] though. I was not impressed at all with the one at the Atlanta Airport, but because it was in an airport, I have put Chick-Fil-A on probation until I can eat at a real one.

The ottoman

The box cover

The finished product
We’ve had this ottoman for like 8 months—not a cheap ottoman either. Loki refuses to keep his little cat claws out of it, so for the whole time we’ve had it, we’ve kept a box over the top. I FINALLY came up with the great idea to buy some faux leather and adhere it to the box so it would at least look somewhat presentable. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner! I’m very happy with the result!

Soooo….there’s something wrong with our Grill. This is after 2 minutes of being on, in the same place we’ve cooked since we moved here. Awesome.Lucky you didn’t turn it on and walk away to get food or something… with house insurance cover this?
It only melted the siding; everything underneath was fine. The previous homeowners have about 20 leftover siding panels in the garage so I’m sure those will cover it. It’s actually going to work out for the better though since next month the husband was planning on blowing insulation into the exterior walls and he has to remove siding to do that anyway!

Chupa[crap]a
Please tell me that all you people posting the CNN Chupacabra link are posting it because you think it’s lame! ::coughcaninecough::
Same looking “creature” WITH a DNA test
“Creature” caught running on Police Dashcam
It’s a creature with no hair—must be a Chupacabra/Monster!
I think it’s amazing that as soon as you take a known animal and change a condition of it (total hair loss, process of decomposition, etc) people want to automatically kill it and call it a monster. These so called “Chupacabras” don’t even closely resemble what South American Chupacabas supposedly look like anyway.
That is all.
