Another installment of ‘Are people tacky, or am I just being a dick?’

I’ll try the speedy version. 

I know a couple.  They’re engaged.  The guy has stage 1 cancer.  A month or two ago they threw a big fundraiser to raise money for his cancer treatment (they have insurance).  Recently, they’ve been telling everyone about the the $350 wedding shoes she wants to get, the $4000 honeymoon they’re going on and the $500 spa day they’re going to have while they’re on vacation (in addition to the $4000). 

Am I a dick for finding this highly inappropriate…at the very least that they’re not just keeping this information to themselves?
